HUGE VICTORY IN HOUSE DISTRICT (HD) 28 SPECIAL ELECTION

Despite the Democrats backing their candidate in HD28 with $1.2M and endorsements from national Democrats like Joe Biden, Beto O’Rourke, Mike Bloomberg, and Eric Holder, Republican Gary Gates came out on top with a decisive win, by 16 points - the first victory of 2020.
Fort Bend County overwhelmingly rejected the Democrats agenda and their attempt to buy this election.
This district was a “bellwether” for 2020 for months before the election, according to the Democrats. If that’s the case, we’re prepared to continue our momentum and keep Texas red in November.
This victory would not have been possible without the Texas GOP, our campaign, and the hundreds of volunteers who knocked thousands of doors and made thousands of phone calls in HD28.

The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) will create 176,000 new jobs, $68B in economic growth, and 43,000 new manufacturing jobs. The signing of the USMCA is a huge win for the Lone Star State and for our country.

MEDAL OF COURAGE RECIPIENT JACK WILSON

A few weeks ago, I presented the Governor’s Medal of Courage to Jack Wilson.
He’s the hero who risked his life to save the lives of others by stopping a gunman in a deadly shooting at a church near Fort Worth.
It’s the highest award given to civilians in Texas.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM MY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TRIP TO ISRAEL
I met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem. I’m grateful to Prime Minister Netanyahu for his warm hospitality and enduring friendship. Texas has worked hard to reaffirm our steadfast support of Israel, and I’m confident that this relationship will continue to prosper in the years to come.
I had the opportunity to pray at the Western Wall that God will continue to bless Israel and that God continue to strengthen the bond between Texas and Israel. May peace and prosperity continue to bless our two peoples.
