JOhn, House Republicans are engaging in an incredibly dangerous game.

They're trying to force an impossible choice upon the American people: default on our economy, or make massive cuts to programs that provide food and housing to low-income people and roll back critical investments that we've made to fight climate change.

We need to make it clear to Kevin McCarthy that the vast majority of Americans are not on his side — and that he needs to back down from his posturing.
