Right-wing extremists, like Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott, are abusing their power and infiltrating our schools and communities to push their fascist agenda. 

They’re banning books, bullying trans students, and appointing unqualified candidates to school boards — and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. They distract people and the media by waging racist and transphobic attacks on our students while they cozy up to fossil fuel executives and corporate lobbyists who profit off of the destruction of our communities. The climate crisis gets worse each year, and they fill their pockets and work to silence us.

Instead of banning books in classrooms, they should ban fossil fuels. 

Enough is enough. That’s why young Sunrisers across the country are organizing to take back our classrooms, defeat right-wing extremism, and win a Green New Deal for their schools.
