John, sorry this email is a bit longer, but it's a very important update. I hope you will take a minute to read it all the way through and when you're done, chip in $5 to my Senate campaign if you're able to do so.

First and foremost, I wanted to say how incredibly proud I am of how hard this team is working. In just one month we were able to raise one million dollars – and we're not showing signs of losing steam any time soon!

But the good news doesn't stop there: In these past few weeks, my campaign for Senate has received official endorsements from Stacey Abrams, Rep. Pramila Jayapal, Rep. Ayanna Pressley and other amazing progressives.

John, let these endorsements and this massive fundraising milestone be proof that we can win this thing – but only if we can manage to keep our momentum going strong. 

Because we do have a problem: Last quarter we were outraised and outspent by two other candidates in this race. And on top of that, political experts are already predicting this could be the most expensive Senate primary in our nation's history. 

But I'm not worried yet. We have built such an incredible grassroots team in such a short period of time that I know we can raise enough money to spread my progressive message across the state and win. And, with recent polling showing that a large number of California voters are undecided on who to vote for, victory is well within reach. 

That's why each and every fundraising goal is critical to my campaign – especially in these next few months. If our momentum continues at this pace, I have absolutely no doubt that we can win this race. But if we falter for even a moment, we could fall dangerously behind and run out of resources long before Election Day.

John, I’m incredibly grateful for your support and everything you've done thus far, but I have to ask for your help once more. I'm falling short of my critical $15,000 daily fundraising goal, and I only have until midnight to make up the difference. So please, if you're able to:
