John, Cori is working every day to serve St. Louis and make real change for our community.
In December, Cori helped deliver nearly $18.4 million in federal funding for community projects in St. Louis in the 2023 government funding package.
This funding responds directly to some of the most pressing needs in St. Louis — which will help to advance projects that will create jobs, deliver public health services, build new affordable housing units, and more.
This is yet another victory for St. Louis and brings us closer to a more just and equitable St. Louis. John, can you chip in $5 or more today to keep Cori focused on legislating and organizing for progressive change?
After months of negotiations, these are the projects that are being funded this year:
✅ $70,000 for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri, St. Louis, MO for student mental health and anti-violence programs
✅ $685,000 for the City of St. Louis — Improvement of the 911 Dispatch System
✅ $1,812,891 for the LIFE Housing Project
✅ $990,000 for the Public Wi-Fi for St. Louis Housing Authority Residents
✅ $380,000 for the Seed St. Louis, MO for STEM education programs
✅ $1,000,000 for the SSM Health - St. Mary's Hospital - St. Louis, MO for facilities and equipment
✅ $252,713 for the St. Louis Public Schools, St. Louis, MO for CTE programs in construction trades, including scholarships for technical college program
✅ $1,000,000 for the UAW Labor Employment and Training Corporation, St. Louis, MO for job training in the automotive services industry
✅ $750,000 for the Urban League Plaza Property Improvements
And Cori's work is just getting started. Cori is hard at work right now to secure even more community project funding in 2024 and pass urgently needed legislation that will benefit working people.
While the 2024 election seems a while away, we know that opponents are preparing potential runs against Cori and GOP super PACs are readying to spend millions in an attempt to defeat us. That's why we need to step up to keep Cori focused on legislating for us in Congress — not fundraising.
John, Cori needs this grassroots team to have her back so she can work to save lives and transform livelihoods. Please, will you make a $5 donation right now to help keep Cori in Congress so she can continue boldly leading legislation to make real change for those who need it the most?
Together,
Team Cori
