Hey team! May’s a busy month here at Team Stein. We’re traveling a ton this month — taking Josh from Murphy to Manteo (literally!!) to meet with voters and discuss his vision for the future. I’ll be frank: We need gas money, (and funds for other expected campaign expenses like hotel rooms, flyers, and more). We had to increase our planned expenses for the month, which means we had to raise our May fundraising goal to compensate.
We always knew that running a statewide campaign wouldn’t be cheap or easy. We also knew that we’d have to make ambitious requests of our supporters to ensure we’d have the resources we need to compete. Team, none of us like having to ask for your help so often. It’s definitely our least favorite part of campaigning. But the fact is, we cannot defeat the GOP’s war chest without you.
