ODP PRESS COVERAGE The Oklahoma Democratic Party is hosting our Biennial Carl Albert Dinner and Awards on June 3rd. Beto O'Rourke is keynoting our dinner. HELP ELECT DEMOCRATS WITH Beto O’Rourke is a fourth-generation Texan, born and raised in El Paso, where he has served as a small business owner, a city council representative, and a member of Congress. He founded and currently leads Powered by People, a Texas-based organization that works to expand democracy and produce Democratic victories through voter registration and direct voter engagement. Powered by People has helped register over 250,000 unregistered Texans to vote since its inception in December 2019.

Starting on Saturday, June 3 rd , at 10 a.m. at the beautiful newly renovated Tulsa Convention Center, delegates and guests can join the Party for several breakout sessions hosted by our Federations to hear speakers from all over the United States. Then let’s get dressed up for the Chair’s Reception to meet and have photo ops with our Keynote Speaker, Beto O’Rourke, who will speak at the Carl Albert Dinner and Awards following the reception. Carl After Dark and different Federation Hospitality events will occur post Carl Albert Dinner.

Minnesota DFL Chair, DNC Vice Chair and ASDC President Ken Martin will kick off our convention. Officer elections will take place after business.
