Friends,
Democrats essentially legalized hard drug during this year’s legislative
session. Despite having big majorities in the State House and Senate, they again failed to pass a new drug possession law. Their failure is because
too many Democrat legislators want to legalize hard drugs. That’s
how unhinged far too many Democrats have become. Next week, Governor Jay
Inslee will call lawmakers back to do their job in a special session with the public needing something more than another stopgap measure. And –
once again – we here at Shift WA will be here to inform you on what’s happening in Olympia.
All this recent liberal chaos highlights the importance of the upcoming gubernatorial race.
With Democrats moving further and further to the left, it’s more important than ever that voters
know the truth about each candidate’s beliefs and track record. Mainstream media outlets will try to hide the truth from you about just
how far to the Left the Democrat candidates are – but we’ll be shining a light on reality.
And speaking of the gubernatorial race, we're excited to share the results of our recent poll asking our
readers which candidate they most want to see win in 2024. Thousands of people participated. Here are the results:
- Semi Bird (R), Richland School Board: 16%
- Bob Ferguson (D), Attorney General of WA: .7%
- Hilary Franz (D), Public Lands
Commissioner of WA: .5%
- Raul Garcia (R), Doctor/Former Gubernatorial Candidate: 17%
- Mark Mullet (D), State Senator (Issaquah): 1.8%
- Jim Walsh (R), State
Representative (Aberdeen): 30%
- J.T. Wilcox (R), State Representative (Yelm): 19%
- Other (give us your pick!): 15%
And of the many potential candidates you listed in the “other” category, recipients listed former GOP U.S. Senate candidate
Tiffany Smiley most often with 30% of the “other” vote. We
love keeping readers informed – but our work depends entirely on the generous contributions of people like you. Will you consider contributing $100, $50, or $25
today? Thank you for your ongoing support,
The Shift WA team
