Your support today can help protect precious babies in America this year.
Currently, just eight states in the U.S. report abortion information on born-alive infants.
From those eight states, reports show that 35 infants in 2020 and 2021 were born alive and another 8 babies were born alive just in Florida in 2022.
Nationally, there are no numbers available. But in a study that looked at 241 children aborted for having a suspected fetal anomaly between 20 and 24 weeks, 122 infants survived the procedure!
Please stand with Americans United for Life’s efforts to ensure abortion survivors receive care to increase their chances of survival and alleviate their pain. All 50 states need to treat these children with human dignity; if you agree, please sign our petition today.
As America’s first national pro-life organization, AUL has saved thousands of precious lives through behind-the-scenes work in America’s legislatures, courts, and public life.
We’re in pursuit of real change and tangible impact.
Americans United for Life is committed to exposing the truth about abortion and protecting the most vulnerable through policy and legislation. We’re representing those without a voice, advancing the human right to life, and working on your behalf to:
- Ensure all 50 states and every territory have policies that require healthcare professionals to provide medically appropriate and reasonable care for survivors of abortion.
- Establish enforcement mechanisms to ensure that born-alive infants receive proper medical care.
- Provide civil and criminal penalties for violation of laws that protect babies who survive attempted abortions.
No one has a right to commit infanticide, nor justify the denial of basic protections for the born, living human infants. But, without legislative protections, born-alive babies In a majority of states will continue to suffer.
The most vulnerable lives need our help, which is why I need your signature on the National Petition to Protect Born-Alive Babies today.
Founded in 1971, two years before the tragic Roe v. Wade decision, Americans United for Life is still fighting for preborn and born-alive babies over 50 years later!
Since our founding, those not yet born have been dehumanized, life itself has become politicized, and the most vulnerable have faced increasing marginalization due to their age, ability, or perceived value.
Americans United for Life is working to ensure all survivors of abortion are welcomed throughout life and protected by law.
But we can’t do this work alone.
This is a fight we will win — culturally and legally, locally and nationally — if we have the support of Americans who recognize the importance of protecting born-alive babies.
Will you sign this petition to help us protect survivors of abortion in all 50 states?
