We’re as sick of hearing about Donald Trump as you are. But if we want to keep him out of the White House in 2024, we need to keep our ears to the ground.

Here’s what he did during last night’s town hall in New Hampshire:

• He repeatedly dodged whether he would sign a federal abortion ban into law. He championed the Supreme Court’s decision last year to overturn Roe v. Wade’s federal abortion rights as “such a great victory.”
• He promised to reinstate his “Zero Tolerance Policy,” which tore thousands of children away from their families at the U.S. - Mexico border from 2017 - 2021.
• He recklessly pushed for Republicans to blow up the debt ceiling and downplayed the consequences of a default, saying it would be “a bad week or a bad day.”
• He refused to say whether he wanted Ukraine to prevail in its war with invading Russia and added that Biden’s decision to aid Ukraine was a mistake.
• He declared that he would pardon “a large portion” of the January 6 rioters.
• He wouldn’t stop repeating 2020 election fraud lies and refused to commit to recognizing the 2024 election results unless he deems it an “honest election.”

Nearly every word that came out of his mouth was a lie and we all knew that’s exactly what would happen. His administration caused so much damage to our democracy – we can’t go down this road again.
