Restrictive Housing Practices Statement of Work [ [link removed] ]
NIJ and the Federal Bureau of Prisons have partnered on an initiative to examine the use of restrictive housing in federal facilities, and have released a Request for Quotes for research to: ?
1. Discern why and for how long people are placed in restrictive housing in BOP facilities.??
2. Understand the degree to which decisions for restrictive housing placement comport with BOP policies and evidence-based practices.??
3. Understand the impact of the experience of restrictive housing on access to programmatic, treatment, educational, and visitation opportunities.??
4. Offer recommendations to reduce its use. ?
The Government will only accept quotes via GSA eBuy from vendors who offer services under SIN 541611. It is the quoter?s responsibility to confirm receipt of their submission. The following GSA Special Item Number (SIN) are applicable to this RFQ: 541611 - Management and Financial Consulting, Acquisition and Grants Management Support, and Business Program and Project Management Services.?
