Last week you heard about our major wins in the New York state budget. Now, we're working to keep it going through the remainder of the legislative session.

That means we have less than a month to pass the NY HEAT Act this year and complete our legislative goals for 2023.

NY HEAT is also part of the NY Renews Climate, Jobs & Justice package this legislative session. We invite you to take part in a virtual grassroots lobby visit this week or next to ensure your reps hear from their constituents (there are 6 tabs of lobby visits listed on the sign up form - don't forget to page through to the end)!

The package also includes bills like Climate Superfund Act, which pave the way for a more equitable clean energy future.

Experienced lobby leads will guide you through the process and assign roles. It’s so important for legislators to hear from constituents like you, to show them the urgency of climate and environmental justice.
