Today, my campaign announced the endorsement of Minority Leader Don Scott for re-election as Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney.

"Steve Descano has brought much needed reform to Fairfax County's justice system. He has been a leader in the Commonwealth by aggressively using Virginia's Red Flag laws to keep our communities safe from gun violence. I'm proud to endorse Steve Descano for re-election this June," said Leader Scott.

The announcement adds to a growing list of over 20 current and former elected officials to endorse my re-election, including Gov. Terry McAuliffe, Congressman Gerry Connolly (VA-11) and Congressman Don Beyer (VA-8).

Minority Leader Scott has fought for legislation to improve public safety, pass common sense gun control measures, and to help those that have paid their debt to society rejoin their community. I thank Leader Scott for his support and look forward to partnering with him and his colleagues in Richmond to make our justice system more fair and just while keeping us safe.
