Henry Schein earned $121 million in the first quarter on revenue of $3.06 billion. The health care products company has agreed to acquire Southern Cross Group's S.I.N. Implant System, a Brazilian company that produces products for dental implant procedures.
Associated Food Stores is implementing an end-to-end Symbotic automation system at its Farr West, Utah, distribution center that will include a robotic case-pick function. The system's artificial intelligence will help improve efficiency while paring costs, said Symbotic CEO Rick Cohen.
