You may not know me, but my name is Hung Cao.

I’m a legal immigrant from Communist Vietnam, a 25-year special operations Navy Veterans and a father of five.

I know you get a lot of emails asking for money, but today, I’m not going to do that - I’m only asking for you to sign onto our vision for America.

You see, I was born in a country where people were executed for trying to fight for the freedoms too many of us take for granted.

After my father was put on a kill list for speaking out against the Communist Party, we were able to legally come to America, where my parents worked hard to build a life for us.

I came here at four years old not knowing a word of English. But by the time I was 18, I was a cadet in the Naval Academy preparing to serve my country.

But after 25 years of service in Naval Special Operations, I knew I had to take my fight for America to a new arena.

Watching the Left try to erase the American Dream I owe my life to makes me absolutely sick, John. With their socialist agenda, they’re trying to slowly erode the freedoms my family came to this country for years ago.

I won’t stand for it.
