Hi John -

I’ll make this quick because I’m on my way to testify in a Congressional Hearing in the U.S. House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Energy and Mineral Resources on behalf of the Boundary Waters. Last week, Rep. Stauber introduced legislation to reverse the 20-year ban on sulfide-ore copper mining in the watershed and I am here to testify that we must permanently protect the greatest canoe country on the planet.

I am taking a moment to email you this morning to ask you to make a gift to defend the Boundary Waters. Can I count on you to step up and protect canoe country with a gift today? If you can, here is the link: savetheboundarywaters.org/donate

The Boundary Waters is not a 20-year Wilderness. It is a forever Wilderness and we must make the protection permanent. Your gift will help Save the Boundary Waters continue to show up and fight to permanently protect America’s most visited Wilderness.

Thank you,
-Becky
