Mother's Day is just around the corner, and we all know how important it is to show appreciation to the moms in our lives.

Moms like Tamera, who joined our Healthy Parents & Babies program when she was 8 months pregnant. She was referred through the hospital and was assigned a doula within the same week. Before joining our program, Tamera had concerns about having a new baby and like any first-time parent, she was afraid of making mistakes.
“My relationship with my doula was amazing. We talked at least once a week, we went over the birth plan. She was there when the baby was born, and she also came and did home visits with us when we came home, and it was amazing.” Tamera said.
