Friend, the race for Senate here in New York is well underway — and the stakes couldn't be higher.

Last year, Republicans flipped four congressional seats across my state, enough to help give them control of the House. At the same time, Lee Zeldin, a right-wing radical, came within single digits of the governor's mansion. And now, he's hinting that he may challenge me in 2024.

Listen, I'm not afraid of a tough fight. Zeldin's tweets attacking my campaign don't faze me, because I'm focused on delivering results for the people I represent in the Senate.

But make no mistake: Defending this seat and flipping those congressional seats back to blue won't be easy. Control of the House AND the Senate are on the line here in New York — and the GOP's megadonors will do whatever it takes to make these races go their way. A strong grassroots team is absolutely essential to our success here.
