Hi John- I wanted to reach out today and introduce myself, I’m Travis Brimm and I’m the new Executive Director here at DASS.
With our democracy facing unprecedented attacks, I couldn’t be more excited to join this fight because we are the only organization solely dedicated to electing and reelecting Democratic Secretaries of State.
Last November, Democratic Secretaries of State were able to administer one of the safest and most secure elections ever despite constant disinformation and threats being spewed from the far right. Across the country, these Secretaries made it easier to vote by mail, to vote early, and to register to vote.
And in swing state after swing state, Democratic Secretaries of State triumphed and defeated election deniers whose campaigns were fueled by lies and conspiracy theories.
But this fight is far from over. As we head into 2024 - and a ticket that will likely topped by Trump - we’re getting ready now for the inevitable rush of lies, big money, and attack ads. And if we’re going to win, I’m going to need you on my team.
