My campaign for the U.S. Senate in California is focused on the people, and keeping up the work I’ve done over more than two decades in Congress.
I’ve been so grateful to call Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley a partner in that work, and I’m so proud to have her endorsement in this race.
Together, Ayanna and I have led efforts to repeal the discriminatory Hyde Amendment and ensure access to abortion for every pregnant person, regardless of how they get their healthcare.
We’ve fought together to highlight the impact of systemic racism on public health and advance health policies that protect the wellbeing of all of our communities.
We share a commitment to justice and a conviction to stand up for the people – no matter what obstacles might be in our way. But we can’t do this alone. Your support and partnership are critical to winning this campaign.
Ayanna often says that she needs even more partners in the U.S. Senate. I couldn’t agree more, and now I’m running for Senate to make that a reality.
The Senate needs more leaders who are committed to finding real solutions to homelessness, lifting people out of poverty, protecting our Democracy and human rights, and taking on the climate crisis.
That’s the work Ayanna and I have been doing in the House, and it’s what we’ll keep doing as partners in the House and Senate.
