Dear Supporter,
Since its founding, AFL has been the principal outside legal organization laying out and implementing a comprehensive roadmap to defeat the Biden Administration’s Open-Borders Agenda in federal court.
AFL has won some major victories, but our work grows even more critical this Thursday, when Title 42, an essential tool used to turn migrants back at the southern border, is set to expire.
We’ve seen unprecedented illegal border crossings, record amounts of Fentanyl being smuggled over the Southern Border, and heart-wrenching stories of small children and infants being trafficked and abused by drug cartels. As the mother of a nine-year-old son, I’m horrified by the devastation that the Biden Administration’s Open Borders Agenda has wreaked.
And it only gets worse from here. Upon Title 42’s expiration, the widely-held prediction is for a dramatic surge of illegal aliens descending upon the border and flooding into the homeland.
The Biden Administration cannot even handle the numbers at the border at this time. Last week, 18,600 known “got aways” were reported at the border. To put that in perspective, in one week alone, enough illegal aliens to fill a large stadium escaped into our communities. These unvetted aliens, along with multitudes more, live side-by-side with our children. Last year alone, the DEA seized enough Fentanyl to kill every American, 91% of which was snuggled over the Southern Border.
Thanks to your support, AFL will increase and strengthen our critical work to stop the Biden Administration’s Open-Borders Agenda.
Here are some of the major legal actions that AFL has already taken to safeguard America:
* This year, AFL and the State of Texas, joined by 20 other States, filed a lawsuit and a motion for a preliminary injunction to block a Biden DHS program that allows hundreds of thousands of additional illegal aliens to be unlawfully paroled into the United States every year
* AFL drafted and educated policymakers on model policy language which can be utilized to stop the immigration crisis.
* AFL, as outside counsel to the State of Texas, filed a lawsuit to block a Biden Administration regulation that would expedite the process for newly-arriving illegal aliens to be released into the United States and become eligible for green cards (based on fraudulent or legally insufficient claims), creating a massive new pull factor that would further exacerbate the border crisis.
* AFL filed two Amicus Briefs with the U.S. Supreme Court in a case involving the Biden DHS’ illegal termination of the “Remain in Mexico” program, providing critical details about the program’s benefits that hadn’t been addressed in other briefs.
* As outside counsel for the State of Texas, AFL partnered with a coalition of 8 States to sue the Biden Administration for its unlawful program that rewarded illegal aliens by permitting them to apply to have family members join them in the United States.
* AFL conducted investigations of the Biden DHS, CBP, and ICE, including submitting over 13 FOIA requests to publicly expose how the Biden Open-Borders Agenda is being implemented, including information on 31 non-governmental organizations that are receiving taxpayer money from ICE to distribute illegal aliens across the United States.
Thank you again for your steadfast support of AFL. We look forward to updating you on our ongoing and critical work to secure our nation’s borders.
