John,

The race for the Senate majority in 2024 is in full swing, and our success will come down to Democratic pro-choice candidates winning decisive victories in swing states.

Recent elections in Wisconsin, Nevada, and Michigan were decided by 3% of the vote -- or less. This cycle, Sen. Tammy Baldwin (WI), Sen. Jacky Rosen (NV), and Rep. Elissa Slotkin (MI) are in must-win Senate races that could be just as close. Protecting every last Democratic seat has never been more important, John.

In quintessential swing state Wisconsin, recent presidential and Senate winners have been decided by mega-close margins. Since Sen. Tammy Baldwin's underdog victory in 2012, Republicans have been itching to flip this seat -- and since anti-choice conspiracy theorist Sen. Ron Johnson won his 2022 race (albeit by less than 1% of the vote), they believe they can do it.

Nevada is in the same boat. Despite Sen. Jacky Rosen becoming the only Democratic challenger to unseat a Republican Senate incumbent in 2018, last cycle’s Democratic Senate victory in Nevada also came down to a margin of less than 1%. The GOP has named Nevada as a top target in the race for the Senate majority, so we know this race will come down to the wire.

The story is a little different in Michigan, where Rep. Elissa Slotkin is running to defend a newly open Democratic Senate seat. The GOP's Senate fundraising arm has already announced its plan to "aggressively target" this seat, which means millions of dollars from anti-choice extremists looking to combat the wave of Democratic victories EMILYs List-endorsed candidates won in Michigan last November.

Democratic pro-choice women in swing states were the reason we were able to preserve our razor-thin Senate majority last year, and this cycle will be no different. The GOP will throw everything they have at races like Tammy, Jacky, and Elissa's -- but we can fight back.

Donate to our Senate Flash Fund before midnight to help Democratic pro-choice women defend key seats in the race to SAVE the Senate in 2024:
