- He advocated for the privatization of Social Security and Medicare during his first campaign for Congress.
- He signed the six-week abortion ban into law in Florida.
- He is considering to pass a sweeping package of immigration measures that would represent the toughest crackdown on undocumented immigration by any state in more than a decade.
- He kidnapped dozens of migrant families and dropped them off in Massachusetts as part of a political stunt.
- He passed the grotesque "Don't Say Gay" bill – and, right now, is looking to expand on the bill by banning teachers from using the correct pronouns of transgender children.
