Iranian-backed Palestinian terrorists in Gaza have launched over 400 rockets into southern and central Israel today, forcing Israeli families across the country into bomb shelters.


Each rocket is fired deliberately and indiscriminately at Israeli civilians, seeking to injure and kill as many innocent people as possible.

As millions of Israelis take cover from the barrage of terrorist rocket fire, the remarkable defense systems we lobby for are keeping them safe and preventing untold destruction.


Iron Dome has intercepted more than 60 rockets that would have otherwise crashed into Israeli cities and towns.

In this video , you can see Israelis running to shelter as Iron Dome operates overhead to shoot down incoming rockets.


For the first time, David’s Sling successfully intercepted a missile, which was heading for Tel Aviv. Together we’ve lobbied Congress to provide nearly $2.5 billion for this advanced missile defense system.


About 25% of rockets fired by Islamic Jihad have landed inside the Gaza Strip, further underscoring that the terrorists are willing to risk civilian lives in Gaza for the chance to kill Israelis.


The IDF continues to operate in Gaza to eliminate rocket launch sites and weapons facilities. Egypt is reportedly working to mediate a ceasefire, but Islamic Jihad rocket fire persists as of this email. Israeli officials have indicated they are prepared to continue the operation to degrade the terrorists’ capabilities in Gaza and defend the Israeli people.
