Republicans secured a ONE-SEAT supermajority in the North Carolina State
House just last month and have already abused their power to advance a
statewide abortion ban.

By a SINGLE seat, they can bypass the pro-choice Governor’s veto. This is
why we’re making it a TOP priority to CRACK GOP supermajorities in states
like North Carolina and even more reason why we MUST win next week’s twin
special elections in Pennsylvania.

Republicans are expected to win one of those special elections and if they
win the other (which is for a seat they held for FORTY years) they will
FLIP control of the chamber and plan on advancing an abortion ban there
next.
