Friend, even if I were related to President Trump (I’m not related), Trinity University would still be making a gross misstep and setting a dangerous anti-free-speech precedent.
Not only is it wrong to burden anyone who shares a name with a famous political conservative … but it also caters to the “Woke” student mob in trying to preemptively silence anyone whom far-left students might find objectionable.
Put simply, when school administrators let “Woke” student protestors hold their schools hostage, this is where the next generation – and our educational system – ends up: A small number of far-left student activists are feared and coddled, while free speech and free thinking suffer!
After all, do you think this would be happening if my last name were Biden, Obama, or Clinton instead?
