John, the union
way of life should be open to ALL workers.
But recently we’ve seen corporations participating in bad-faith bargaining
and union-busting activity against workers who are no longer accepting the
status quo.
This is the time to stand up for workers across the country — too many
workers are still working in dangerous conditions and unfair wages that
are not up to par with the rise of inflation and the cost of living.
Workers at Amazon’s JFK8 fulfillment center on Staten Island became the
first American Amazon Warehouse to win a union election. For over a year,
workers were treated with disdain and arrested for organizing to fight for
the creation of the union.
Just like at Amazon, more workers across the country are opting to create
unions to advocate for their rights at the workplace. We need to support
all of our unions.
