TODAY, the Texas House of Representatives will take up a large number of bills before meeting an important deadline on Thursday. There is a 'good' bill that would protect the religious freedom of attorneys, so Christians won’t have to give up their Biblical beliefs on marriage, life and sexuality in order to practice law, HB 2846 by Representative Briscoe Cain. However, there are three bills that would promote gambling in our state and one LGBT bill.
