** ACEH Governance Change Announcement!
------------------------------------------------------------
The Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness (ACEH) would like to thank its General Membership, ACEH Board of Directors and the Anchorage community at large for the continued commitment, dedication and support of our shared mission to make homelessness in Anchorage rare, brief and one-time.

As we welcome the new year, ACEH would like to introduce its new governance structure and governing body members. In addition to the ACEH Board of Directors, the governing representation will now include a second layer of governance, the Anchorage Homeless Response System Advisory Council.

The Advisory Council will oversee the health of the Anchorage Homeless Response System including Continuum of Care design and support, the annual Anchorage community needs prioritization (Gaps Analysis), Coordinated Entry redesign, Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) governance, in addition to Built for Zero and Anchored Home initiatives. The ACEH Board of Directors will oversee the ACEH organizational overall governance, financial management, strategic planning, advocacy, and the Homeless Response System funding advocacy. Together, we believe these bodies will build a coalition that represents the dynamic voices of our community and enhance the operations of our Homeless Response System. Through the transition, the President and Vice President of the Homeless Response System Advisory Council will also serve upon the ACEH Board of Directors.

We are humbled by the volume of interest we received to join the governing bodies and thank all of those who not only applied but continue to remain involved in the mission through general membership and community committees. Below is the list of individuals who will serve upon the governing bodies:

** ACEH is seeking a Transition Coordinator
------------------------------------------------------------

The Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness is hiring for a new Transition Coordinator Position. Transition Coordinators (TCs) support the daily operation of the Anchorage Coordinated Entry System (CES). The Anchorage CES seeks to streamline services within the Homeless Response System for both those accessing and those providing services:
* Coordinated Entry Access Focus: This position provides mobile access to the CES for people experiencing homelessness within the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA). This role requires both rotation through multiple service locations and street outreach to provide direct services to households experiencing homelessness. This role supports community partners by providing ongoing Access Point trainings. Insight from this position will be essential in informing community-wide outreach coordination to systemically improve access to the CES for all people experiencing homelessness within the MOA. This position entails efficient and compassionate client care and the ability to build and maintain relationships across agencies and providers.
