Hey there,

I'll be honest—this is a long email. It lays out the stakes of our fight—where we've been, where we're going in the months ahead, and why we need your support. I hope you'll read the whole thing, but if you're already on board, you can make a donation to support our work right now. [[link removed]]

As you probably know, last year the conservative majority on the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade . This was a devastating moment in our fight and one that has had immense consequences for people around the country who are no longer able to access abortion.

The truth is, the anti-abortion movement worked towards that moment for decades. Even before Roe fell, abortion was deeply inaccessible for many people across the country—especially for Black people and other people of color, people in rural areas, people with low incomes, and young people.

So we can't just fight to restore Roe —that was never enough to make abortion actually accessible for many people. We have to do more to fight for more.

And we have our work cut out for us. At the national level, anti-abortion extremists are fighting hard to ban medication abortion as we know it. Medication abortion accounts for over half of all abortions that happen in the United States, and has been particularly crucial for accessing miscarriage management and abortion care after Roe fell. And Republicans in states across the country are fighting tooth and nail for more and more restrictions on abortion, including in states like North Carolina and Florida.

We knew that anti-abortion extremists were never going to stop with Roe . They want to end all abortion, everywhere, and to take away our freedom and our right to control what happens to our own bodies.

But this fight isn't just about abortion. It's about ensuring access to contraceptives—which people take to prevent pregnancy as well as for a variety of other health reasons. It's about protecting access to in vitro fertilization, so that every body can decide when and how to start or grow a family.

Sounds like a lot of work, right? But if the last few months have shown us anything, it's that when we join together, we're unstoppable.

Will you join us in the fight ahead? Will you make a donation today to support our work to achieve real reproductive freedom? [[link removed]]

Thanks for all you do,
