As a Netroots trainer, I've seen so many organizations struggle to create powerful graphics for their online campaigns. I get it—how many of us were trained in graphic design before we got thrown in the deep end and told to "make it go viral"?
The challenge is, even beyond the question of aesthetics, your graphics need to connect to your organization's strategy. That’s why Netroots' educational partner, New Media Mentors, is offering Strategic Design Skills for Communications and Organizing.
This online seminar co-led by design strategist and artist Ange Tran will help non-designers learn visual design thinking. Our three-part, interactive online seminar combines instruction and workshopping with your peers at other nonprofits and unions.
The three sessions of this seminar are June 8, 22 and July 6 from 1-2:30pm ET.
Our interactive online format will help you internalize what we are teaching and apply it to your work right away. We're talking everything from getting usable photos to making social media graphics. No matter the format, this training will give the broader strategic perspectives for content.
