Women Winning's 41st Annual Luncheon

We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming 41st Annual Luncheon Event on June 12th at 11:00 am at the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot. This year's theme, "40 YEARS: The Past, Present, and Future of Women Winning," will celebrate our incredible history of supporting and electing pro-choice women in Minnesota and pave the way for the future. We are thrilled to have two incredible speakers who embody this theme and the work that Women Winning has done over the past four decades.

We are honored to have two incredible speakers who will help us explore this theme. 

First, we have the talented comedian and writer, Liz Winstead, who is a passionate advocate for reproductive justice. Liz co-created The Daily Show and has also written for and appeared on numerous television shows. Her book, "Lizz Free or Die," is a humorous memoir about her life and career in comedy. Liz's work has shown us that humor can be an important tool in advocacy and in the process of healing. Liz's work has shown us that laughter and humor can be important tools in the process of healing and moving us into action. 

Secondly, we are honored to welcome Loretta Ross, a pioneer in the field of reproductive justice. Loretta is an author, educator, and activist who has been a central figure in the movement for over 40 years. Her work has been instrumental in shaping the discourse around reproductive justice, and her books, including "Reproductive Justice: An Introduction" and "Undivided Rights: Women of Color Organizing for Reproductive Justice," are essential reading for anyone interested in the history and future of the movement. We are excited to hear from Loretta as she shares her insight and wisdom with us.

This event is a vital part of our ongoing work to support and elect pro-choice women in Minnesota. By attending, you will be supporting our mission to create a world where women are fully represented in all areas of leadership and decision-making.
