In-Demand Jobs Week is designed to promote Ohio?s most in-demand and fastest-growing industries through statewide hiring, education, and training events.?This year, In-Demand Jobs Week highlighted Ohio?s top jobs that stem from career-focused education and the various paths available to Ohioans as they look for their next opportunity.?

On Monday, Lt. Governor Husted launched a new resource that provides information to students, parents, and teachers about the different career pathways available to Ohio students. The ?Find Your Career Pathways? video aims to guide students in their educational journey to land a successful career right here in Ohio.?
Business and education leaders from across Ohio shared their support of this new resource.
Lt. Governor Husted?began his In-Demand Jobs Week tour at?Brookfield Local Schools in Trumbull County where he toured the Building Trades Pre-Apprenticeship program and the Advanced Manufacturing Makerspace.?
Also on Monday, Lt. Governor Husted?visited?Polaris Career Center in Middleburg Heights, where he met students who are receiving training that will save them time and money on their future education.?He also met Olivia Brossard, an IT student who was featured in the Career Pathways video.

On Tuesday, Lt. Governor Husted continued the In-Demand Jobs Week Tour in?Southwest?Ohio with?a signing day event?at Upper Valley Career Center in Piqua where?students signed on to pre-apprenticeship programs for the 2023-2024 school year in industries including Robotics and Automation, HVACR, Construction Technologies, and more.?
He also visited Resonant Sciences Research in Beavercreek, a?research and development company that is an innovative defense contractor focused on aerospace manufacturing, integrated electronics, radars, and more.?
On Wednesday, Lt. Governor Husted?hosted the Governor?s Executive Workforce Board meeting at Scott?s Miracle Gro in?Marysville and discussed the importance of career pathways with board members. He also spoke at the Delaware Area Career Center Signing Day, where students signed on to?their future careers or colleges.?

On Thursday, Lt. Governor Husted visited Micro Machine Works in Vincent,?which is one of the largest?apprenticeship providers in the region. The company also uses?TechCred?to upskill their employees.??
Also on Thursday, Lt. Governor Husted toured?Bellisio?Foods, Inc. in Jackson?County to learn about how they help their employees earn industry-recognized credentials through the TechCred program.?The company makes 100 tons of pizza rolls a day.?
Finally, on Friday, Lt. Governor Husted?visited Pioneer Industrial Systems in Toledo, a robotics and automation company?that?produces automated machinery?for high-risk jobs.?
