I asked my team to help me reach out personally. Brian Fitzpatrick just voted to slash the VA’s budget by 22 percent, and as an actual combat veteran who relies on the VA for healthcare, I’m pissed.

I'm pissed because I have friends who will never be able to work again because of the injuries they sustained fighting for our country. They gave everything of themselves just to watch Republicans blow up the healthcare that they paid for with their bodies. Brian Fitzpatrick and his GOP cronies — most of whom have never lifted a finger for this country much less bled for it — happily slashing the healthcare of our country's heroes to score stupid political points makes me sick. Stopping this kind of shit is EXACTLY why I am running for Congress.
