Wisconsin AG Josh Kaul joined MSNBC’s Morning Joe to outline his lawsuit challenging his state’s 1849 abortion ban that would make it a felony for doctors to perform abortions.

Wisconsin Republicans are attacking AG Kaul’s lawsuit and the rights of Wisconsin patients, claiming the abortion ban should take effect in the wake of Roe being overturned. This would ban virtually all abortions across Wisconsin — but AG Kaul is refusing to let this happen. His efforts have already prevented the ban from going into effect last year and he’s fighting to keep it that way.

Friend, Dem AGs are on the frontlines in the fight for abortion access, and they’ll fight tooth and nail to protect reproductive rights across the country.
