Last week, I gave a speech on the Senate floor and called out Republican Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy for threatening the first ever federal debt default in U.S. history.

MAGA Republicans are demanding that Democrats go along with the GOP’s radical budget proposal that would slash funding for first responders and veterans, put affordable health care for families at risk, and remove access to food assistance for more than one million Americans.

Forcing a decision between defaulting on the federal debt and slashing programs and services that millions of Americans rely on is no choice at all. MAGA Republicans want to hold the country hostage until they get their way, regardless of who gets hurt by their reckless actions.

Let’s show Kevin McCarthy and the GOP that we won’t support their MAGA manifesto. We’re going to take back the House, hold the Senate, and keep the White House, and put a stop to this. Will you pitch in today to help Democrats organize for victory in 2024? [link removed]
