Last month, President Trump stated that he’s considering slashing Medicare and Social Security, effectively robbing Americans of hard-earned benefits and vital programs they need and rely on.

And just last year, the President recommended nearly $2 trillion in cuts to mandatory safety net programs in his budget proposal.
