Good Morning From San Antonio,
I am writing because the Texas Hill Country is in need of your help.
Today, leadership for the City of Fredericksburg will vote on granting Kinder Morgan an easement for the Texas Permian Highway Pipeline. The easement is recommended to the Mayor and City Council on behalf of the City Manager Kent Myers who is asking the elected body to approve the easement. This pipeline will wreak havoc on water sources for over 4 million people including Austin, San Antonio, and many other major Texas cities.
You can help by joining the Society of Native Nations in calling and emailing the City of Fredericksburg’s City Manager, Mayor, and City Council.
Below is the needed contact information as well as a call and email script you can amend to fit your voice.

Hello, my name is ______-
I am calling to demand the City of Fredericksburg deny the easement for the Permian Highway Pipeline to Kinder Morgan. I do not support another pipeline that promotes the continued use of dirty fossil fuels that leak toxic chemicals into our waterways.
The industrial man camps that come along with these projects show an increase in human trafficking and are unsafe for our women and children.
With the current climate crisis causing chaos for our farmers in the midwest with flooding, unprecedented extinction of our animal relatives, and rising sea levels- it’s time to keep it in the ground and look for new alternatives to just transition from the dirty energy that hurts our ecosystems.
STOP the Permian Highway Pipeline, save our water.

Dear (Insert Title Here),
I demand that you deny the easement for the Permian Highway Pipeline to Kinder Morgan. I do not support another pipeline that promotes the continued use of dirty fossil fuels leaking toxic chemicals into our waterways. History has shown that all pipelines leak and are unsafe to our bodies and ecosystems.
