This headline stopped me in my tracks. I wasn’t surprised to see the number. (I know that we’re running a strong grassroots fundraising program, thanks to folks like you who’ve stepped up when it matters most.) Rather, it took me back to when I first started working on this campaign. It reminded me what’s at stake in this race. I am so proud to work for someone like Carolyn, someone who is on the right side of the issues that I care about most, like prescription drug affordability and getting corporate money out of politics. Someone who will stand up for our community here in Washington’s Third. John -- the truth is that Carolyn’s opponent, Jaime Herrera Beutler, is going to be supported by corporate PACs that are going to try to spend and smear their way back into Congress. That’s why I’m personally asking you to join this fight with me and double down on our fight for progress.
Carolyn isn’t accepting a dime of corporate PAC money -- so every contribution is powerful in its ability to help us build the best operation possible.
