This weekly digest is a new method to communicate updates, initiatives and policy changes from the Aging and Adult Services Division (AASD) and Disability Services Division (DSD) in a simplified way. Audience:?Lead agency MnCHOICES assessors, case managers, care coordinators and MMIS data entry staff

Summary:?Remote adult day services will be a permanent option for licensed adult day services providers beginning July 1, 2023. DHS is sharing policy and training resources now to allow lead agencies and providers time to learn how to offer, authorize and provide permanent remote adult day services.

Audience:?Personal care services providers, including some waiver services, home health services providers, managed care organization (MCO) staff and other interested parties

Summary:?MCOs and home health services providers will start to use EVV later in 2023. Providers that have an MCO contract should watch for communication from their organization that shows next steps to get started with EVV. When possible, DHS will have home health services providers complete the provider enrollment survey for home health and start using the system.

Summary: DHS invites interested parties to attend the in-person Central MN Autism Community Resource Fair. Attendees can learn about resources to support children and adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other related conditions. It is open to the public and is for people of all ages and at any stage of their autism journey.
