Dogs in puppy mills need your urgent action! Our allies in Congress have introduced legislation called the Puppy Protection Act that would help eliminate some of the worst abuses in puppy mills.

But your elected leaders need to hear from you to get this bill over the finish line. Will you please advocate for helpless dogs and urge your legislator to support the Puppy Protection Act now? ([link removed])

If we succeed in securing passage of the Puppy Protection Act, it would be a giant step towards improving the lives of tens of thousands of dogs currently suffering in USDA-licensed puppy mills.

This important bill would require stronger standards of care in USDA-licensed breeding facilities, including increased enclosure sizes, solid flooring, exercise, feeding twice per day, socialization, and protection from extreme temperatures. It will also impose breeding limits and ensure that breeders try to rehome retired dogs instead of discarding or killing them.

These basic measures are common sense to you and me. And no dog should endure anything less. Please take action for puppy mill puppies and mother dogs now. ([link removed]) Together we can win this fight.
