Why This Matters:
In this critical moment of transition out of the official COVID-19 public health emergency, members of Congress have an opportunity to find common ground and help foster equitable economic growth and development through investments in our health care workforce, maternal and child health, and insurance coverage. This year's policy priorities will make important progress toward addressing systemic inequities and ensuring that communities of color, LGBTQ+ communities, people with disabilities, and other marginalized populations are able to achieve their fullest health potential.
Join Us in Advancing These Policy Priorities:
Families USA’s success in advocating for the best health and healthcare for all individuals is due Iarge part to support from health justice advocates and partners like you! We welcome and encourage you to join us on the journey to advance anti-racist policies for health equity. Over the next year, Families USA will engage in a number of activities to mobilize community members, advocates, partners, and other stakeholders around our policy priorities. You can join us by participating in learning opportunities, joining our sign-on letters, participating in hill visits, and sharing your stories of lived experiences by either advocating for our policy priorities or directly serving populations impacted by health inequities we’re addressing.
