Last Chance for 2023 Opioids, Stimulants, and Trauma Summit
The 2023 Opioids, Stimulants, and Trauma Summit May 16-18 is dedicated to connecting you to the right people and resources to build healthy communities.
You can expect:
- Five keynote presentations.
- Actionable strategies to save lives presented in more than 20 workshops.
- Opportunities to network with more than 700 people who share your interest in protecting the health and safety of the people of Wisconsin.
Attend in person in the Wisconsin Dells (Kalahari Resort) or virtually.
Registration is required. Advance registration closes at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 11.

NEW! Walk-in registration will be available for in-person attendance for all three days of the conference on Tuesday, May 16 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Kalahari Resort. The walk-in registration fee is $275. Credit card/debit card payment only. People who wish to attend virtually must register by 5 p.m. Thursday, May 11.
Continuing education credits are available for people who attend the live event either in person or virtually. Sessions that meet the new DEA education requirements for prescribers are marked on the agenda.
In-person attendees will have access to printed materials and other handouts from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
There are two pre-conference activities May 15. One session is focused on compassion fatigue and professional burnout. The other session is focused on using creative arts as a therapeutic practice to help veterans heal. These sessions are only available to in-person attendees. Registration is required. Registration for the pre-conference events closes at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 11.
