There’s a lot for you to look forward to at this year’s Homecoming Weekend at ISI! You don’t want to miss this incredible spring weekend.
Scroll down for an overview of the weekend’s events.
FRIDAY: CONSERVATIVE BOOK OF THE YEAR AWARD DINNER
Hear from Dr. Daniel J. Mahoney, winner of the 2023 Conservative Book of the Year Award, on Friday, June 2nd, at the Hotel du Pont in Wilmington, Delaware. The Hon. Jeff Sessions, Former U.S. Attorney General, will give the invocation before dinner.
This award is well deserved. Dr. Mahoney’s recent book, The Statesman as Thinker, is brilliant and timely. If, like me, you’re concerned about our present leadership crisis, his book is a must-read.
SATURDAY LUNCH: REUNION LUNCHEONS
ISI will host luncheons for ISI participants past and present. It’ll be a great time to reconnect and learn about our annual Honors Program, Graduate Student Fellowships, and Collegiate Network student journalism program.
Reunion lunches will feature lectures from our lineup of speakers including acclaimed poet and writer Dana Gioia, Rachel Ferguson, author of Black Liberation Through the Marketplace, and ISI’s own Daniel McCarthy.
SATURDAY AFTERNOON: PANELS
On Saturday Afternoon, experience the serious reflection and spirited discussion that characterizes all ISI events during a special reunion conference. You will hear from leading thinkers and writers including H.W. Brands, Robert Merry, Chris Buskirk, Lee Edwards, and more. Check out our all-star list of speakers and panel discussions!
SATURDAY EVENING: RECEPTION
Cap off Homecoming Weekend with a festive evening of fellowship with ISI alumni, faculty, friends, and students. During this Saturday evening reception, you will enjoy cocktails, dinner, and live music and dancing—not to mention a keynote address from prize-winning humor writer Harrison Scott Key.
You don’t want to miss this!
And remember, if you’re under 30, tickets are only $50! Make sure you register today.
I’ll see you June 2-3rd in Wilmington, Delaware. |
