Tomorrow, President Biden will meet with congressional leaders about the debt ceiling.

Yesterday on NBC's Meet the Press, Democratic House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries stood strong for a clean debt ceiling increase, saying "As the President has made clear, default is not negotiable." But the New York Times reports that "some Democrats are breaking ranks to pressure the president to the table."

We are talking daily about this issue with the White House, our allies in Congress, other progressive organizations, and the media and keep them informed of the growing public mobilization for a clean debt ceiling with no cuts to Social Security, Medicare, or other programs millions of families depend on.

Sign on here to join over 100,000 people telling the president and Democratic leaders to continue to stand strong for a clean debt ceiling increase. No negotiating with hostage takers, and NO cuts to Social Security and Medicare benefits.

Sign on here to tell the president and top Democratic leaders to continue to stand strong. No negotiating with hostage takers -- we demand a clean debt ceiling increase and NO cuts to Social Security and Medicare benefits.

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
