At the time, she was busy building a career in her new home in Texas. She considered herself a “pioneer” because she was the first in her family to move out of state. She wanted to set a good example and make her loved ones proud.

Panicked, Christina searched online for an earlier appointment and found the number for Human Coalition’s contact center. She called and spoke with a compassionate nurse who told her, "We're here to support you...we have your back!"
*Even though* ** *Christina finally felt* ** *a* ** *glimmer of hope, she was* ** *still confused.* Lacking a strong community here in Texas, she saw no other path forward than abortion. In her heaviness, she set out on a drive to Planned Parenthood in Oklahoma.
However, in the abortion procedure room, something caught her eye that changed her heart: a metal garbage can. The reality of throwing away her child’s life struck her.
When she shared her discomfort, the Planned Parenthood employee told her she could leave, but could not be refunded for the abortion she’d already paid for.
The support system she had found through the telecare nurse echoed through her mind. At that moment, she decided she would walk out, choosing life for her baby.
Christina said, "I walked out and felt so free."

*Right now, there are moms across the nation facing crisis pregnancies.* Like Christina, they don’t know what to do and turn to Planned Parenthood in desperation.
Unfortunately, Roe’s repeal 10 months ago has only motivated Planned Parenthood to work harder to increase abortion access.
They are pushing moms to take the dangerous abortion pill (it makes up 54% of abortions!). They’re also promoting abortion trafficking, where they rush moms to another state for an abortion. Some states like California are even calling themselves “abortion sanctuaries.” But these states are not sanctuaries… at least not for tiny, baby humans in the womb.
