Virginia Democrats were caught on a hot mic saying they think parents having a say is “garbage,” “parental crap,” and “stupid.”

They do not want parents to have a seat at the table. It makes no sense.

Friend, while Governor Youngkin fights for excellence in education and passed the largest education budget in our Commonwealth’s history, the same Senate Democrats that kept schools closed during the pandemic, now mock parents and turn a blind eye to administrators delaying notifying students of merit awards to achieve “equal outcomes at any cost”.

Our students deserve better — but Virginia Democrats reliably block any parental rights bills and prioritize unions over families.

Sen. Monty Mason: "It's all a part of this parental crap that they are selling."

Rep. Shelly Simonds: “This is why we have to keep the Senate… because the House is in the hands of the Republicans, and they can push through all kinds of stupid things. We rely on the Senate to kill it all.”

Friend, it’s time to take back our schools by empowering parents, ensuring age-appropriate curriculum, addressing learning loss, supporting hard-working teachers and restoring transparency and excellence in education. We can’t let Virginia Democrats shut parents out any longer. Governor Youngkin needs your support to flip the State Senate and save our schools.
