Here is the situation: As you have heard, Rep. Colin Allred, a hardcore liberal, has just announced he is running against me in my United States Senate race in Texas.

Who is he? He is a far-left Democrat.

As a member of Congress, he has voted with Nancy Pelosi an astonishing 100% of the time.

What that means is on every issue Texans care about, he's voted wrong. So he's voted for open borders over and over again. He's voted for higher taxes over and over again. He's voted for 87,000 new IRS agents. He's voted for massive new regulations. He's voted for the Biden administration's assault on oil, gas and energy production here in Texas and all over the United States.

This race is going to be one hell of a fight...

My last Senate reelection was in 2018. In 2018, it was the most expensive Senate race in the history of our nation in terms of hard money. We were outspent three to one. They absolutely flooded the zone with money and media.

And let me tell you what Democrats did in 2018-- They increased Democrat turnout in the state of Texas, from 1.8 million, all the way up to 4 million, where they more than doubled Democrat turnout in Texas. Now, we saw that coming and we leaned in hard. We increased Republican turnout from 2.8 million, all the way up to 4.2 million. But point two was the whole margin we had- we won by 200,000 votes out of more than 8 million votes cast- that shows the kind of battle it's going to be…
