Out of State MD STID and License Surrender

OLYMPIA, WA ? In April 2023, the Washington Medical Commission (WMC) accepted a stipulated surrender of the license of James Sandor Hurvitz, MD (License #60578555) of Los Angeles County, California.

The WMC surrender was based on the Medical Board of California's revocation of Dr. Hurvitz' license in that jurisdiction. Dr. Hurvitz pled guilty to one felony count of possessing child pornography in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Dr. Hurvitz may not renew, reactivate, or practice as a retired active physician in Washington.
