CCL conservatives go to Hill
to talk climate solutions with Republican lawmakers
More than 90 conservatives with Citizens’ Climate Lobby went to Capitol Hill on Tuesday to talk to Republican members of Congress about climate solutions, specifically market-based approaches like the Energy Innovation Act. Daniel Palken, a CCL Conservative Outreach Fellow, said, “We're in this room not to berate the politician but to try to work together to try to push nonetheless for more aggressive climate solutions.” Here’s a sampling of what showed up on social media about the lobbying effort, which we invite you to share:
